This booklet fully outlines the Professional Experience Guidelines for our Preservice Secondary Teachers and Supervising Teachers.
This document sets out the Professional Experience requirements for students undertaking the pattern of study TEP395/TEP401/TEP402. These students are either graduate-entry Preservice Secondary Teachers enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Education (GDipEd) who are in either their first year of full-time study or in their second year of part-time study or 4-year continuing students enrolled in a BADipEd, BScDipEd, or BA-PsychDipEd.
This document sets out the Professional Experience requirements for our undergraduate Preservice Secondary Teachers enrolled in a BADipEd, BScDipEd, or BA-PsychDipEd. These Preservice Teachers are in their fourth year of full-time study.
Professional Experience 'At Risk' Notification
Macquarie University upholds the highest professional standards. If Supervising Teachers have any doubts about a Preservice Teacher's suitably for the profession, please contact the relevant curriculum lecturer to discuss your concerns. We have developed procedures and strategies to support such Preservice Teachers and, where necessary, exclude them from the program. The form to formally report your observations and concerns is available, below.
